Never posted before but interesting snippet from the Spanish press today (http://www.mundodeportivo.com/)

"In addition, Oscar Garcia stressed that he is "happy, because I had several proposals" to continue as coach. "So far I have rejected all but there are options to train this season (2013-14," he continued pointing. "not trying to take the first thing that comes"

"I'm a bit special, not try to take the first thing that comes, but much thought and estuadiarlo (study) much," said the thread, "what attracts me most is to find a team where there is a sports project that convinces me, in which I lace and also where they can do things. Prioriozo this, and not going to one country or another. "

Do we need a manager who can lace?

Will do, but seriously who is this guy? A lot of you guys seem excited so he must have some pedigree. Is it the case that British manager's don't (in your opinions) sit well in your current setup?

Partly, and partly that there is a paucity of decent British candidates out there right now.

Have a look through the current usual suspects. Not really anyone there that gets the blood pumping. This guy has a Barcelona pedigree, a league title under his belt (albeit not at the highest level), speaks passable English and is likely to be a welcome appointment for our most technically gifted players who are all Spanish speakers. So it's a gamble but an exciting one.
