Get him in. He is very much better than our attacking midfield option we have at the moment who is.......erm.......do we have any attacking midfielders?

I'm sorry but who actually offers these any more?

#bringbackorlandi[/QUOT

Blackpool pay their players a very small retainer, less than oap pensioners receive from the government but then they pay bonus due to appearances and goals and points earned. so he wouldnt have been on mega wages.

I'd have him back in a heartbeat. He would certainly offer the creativity we've been sorely lacking over the last season. A one year deal with an option to extend if he can stay fit.

When he left us no other Championship side picked him up. That's a clue as to how good the world outside BHAFC think he is.

Much more pressing signings needed in other areas, seems to have intermittent injury problems. If we genuinely have ambitions of top 6 finish it's a definite no thanks.

He wants to come back, depending on his wage demands I'd take the risk. Great player for us and played a respectable number of games last season.

just the type of pacey players we have been looking for

admittedly he has a pass that can unlock defences but they arent often enough & he is not mobile (quick) enough to get up & back in the championship (oh & his defending was lightweight)

The obsession stems from posters with absolutely no knowledge of football, they are devoid of any negative memory, while also lacking the intelligence to think beyond their Albion 'bubble'.

and for those reasons I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Could you please provide evidence of this?

Whether it's true or not, it has to be the way to go.

- Sign one 'name' striker. (assuming we are only left with Baldock).
- Trawl mainland Europe for 3 or 4 'lesser' young goal scorers.
- Offer them a 2 year contract along the lines of:-

(Don't study the maths just admire the principle)

- £500 a week. (club provides accommodation for 6 months).
- £250 per appearance.
- £250 per win, regardless.
- £500 per goal (or assist dependant on position)
- £1000 per game winning goal.
- £5000 for each tenth goal.
- £25,000 for division TGS.

And here's the biggie:-

- £30,000 a week if promoted, with a further year contract extension.

Worst case scenario the club has a cheap dud to loan to Crawley.

Alternatively the club has a player or 2 who actually wants to play for the club.

Brighton Mod

Its All Too Beautiful
Whats all this sentiment about, lovely bloke, would take him back in an instant rubbish. The guy was earning in excess of £600,000, yes £600,000 at our club, was prone to injury, went missing during matches often and showed rare flashes of flair. He didn't run anywhere, wasn't good at defending and put out a heart rending u tube video on how much he liked Brighton. Of course he did, he was on £600,00!. He's finished, its like buying an unreliable Austin A40, steer clear!!
