I am a massive Calde fan, love when he goes rampaging forward.....what I am saying is that I think Zaha is a threat and we should take additional precautions to nullify him
Otherwise why would he switch wings, other than Bridge taking him out of the game...clearly they consider it a better option
Lets make sure he can't get in crosses

i can see them attacking with b zaha and bolasie and phillips and Wilbraham and Moritz

I cant, I think Ollie will be defensive and try and knick one or play for penalties.
He wont go gung ho through fear of us picking him off, the larger pitch suits our game more than them.

Any winger worth his salt can beat the full back on the outside. What the rest of the team have to worry about is being beaten on the inside like Chopra did for Ipswich last season.

Other than that is intercepting the ball before the winger gets it where Bruno has the edge.

I think Ollie will revert to type and put an extra man in midfield and make their full-backs push up. That means we could actually start with both Lualua and Buckley. Bearing in the mind extra time, I think on balance it might not be the best bet.

Calde will be fine.
Even with a booking and treading carefully, it still didn't look like there was £15,000,000's worth of difference between the two.

When Bridge switches wing, Bridge should follow. While it's not his natural position, he's got what it takes to nullify Zaha on either wing.

I think they'll try to get to half time without conceding and then go all out for it with this lot in the second half, early goal/s therefore required to avoid Rourkes Drift scenario!

Calderon may lack a little bit of pace, but he's not one for diving in and panicking. He knows his stuff and is trustworthy. I doubt if he'll have too much to worry about anyway

I've got an idea, play Calderon and Bridge as full backs and the midfield drop back and double up on the opposition wingers. Oh yes, that's what we have done all season.

Stop this moaning about Calderon he's a better defender than Bruno and maybe circumstances with injury will play out in our favour.

Calde will be fine, and If he isn't bring on El-Abd and let him have a go with "Haha"
God, no.
I've been as big a fan of AEA as the next man, but Winifred would have a field day against him.
El Adam isn't quick enough.

Zaha's got the ability to do something amazing, no doubt about that. The trouble is, the rest of the team just isn't that great. In the games so far that's meant we can double up on him and even have a 3rd player ready to get across as cover without being punished. He can occasionally get away from 2 but that means pushing the ball a distance and then it's nicked. Hopefully that will continue.

Interesting contrast with Vicente who reminds me of Gazza. Rather than Zaha's flamboyant tricks all the time, he has an amazing way of keeping the ball so close and shielding it with his body. Can't be tackled without the opposition conceding a free-kick.
