OK I'm sad about recent events but it's now time to move on. I daresay there could be a bit of mischief in the media from the jilted party once an announcement is made, so might have to put up with some interesting headlines, but so be it. short term pain for long term gain.
However once the new guy is in place I think most of us will be happy to channel our energies into who/why and what they offer us and which players might come and go.
It's asking a lot to be in contention early in the season but if we are top half or better still top third around Xmas/New Year then no reason why we shouldn't kick on. A top 6 finish and play offs would be a great outcome after this disruption.
I'm generally a 'glass half full person' anyway, so optimism comes naturally.
