I think we'll finish Top 10 this season but play offs might be a step too far. I don't think the side is anywhere near consistent enough at the moment, and as people have said we just can't beat the teams above us.

We do need to add to the squad, though I think we have most of the foundations of an excellent side. All we need is one more central midfielder and a winger and we'd have a good chance. Even with those players I'm not sure we'd get there but the most important thing is that we keep hovering round that area with a few games to go because at that point you don't know what's going to happen. If we win 2 of the 3 games in hand, which is entirely possible, I think that gives us a good chance, and even if we only get 4 points we're still only 4 points away which is acceptable.

I dont think we should get carried away with one victory. We need, to use the cliche, take every game as it comes, and see where we are in 3 or 4 weeks.

We are down to the bare bones in terms of the squad so we must cross our fingers keeping people fit until we can get Lynch, Fraser, Reid, Dixon back.

3 wins out of the remaining 4 games this month, and then I will seriously believe we have a good chance.

With March lining up like this:

Orient (H)
Gills (H)
Carlisle (A)
Walsall (A)
Doncaster (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Swindon (H)
Forest (A)
Leeds (A)

9 games in 29 days, and we will need at least 15 points from these games to give ourselves a good chance of play offs.

So realistically we need 8 wins from 13 games - Going to be tough.

With 5 home games and an away fixture with Cheltenham we should improve our position in the league but not enough to gain promotion, if the on loan chaos caused by DK which cost us points had not happened then it would have been a possibility.

i wont bet against it, but i think its just a bit too much of an ask.

one win against crewe we are going up! But if we draw a couple at home and lose one of the games in hand, it wont look so rosey.
