Quite enlightening really watching them close up for two hours with at least one ball constantly in play...

Kayal is the best player by miles.

Solly March is very skilful.

Baldock and Hemed took about twenty minutes before they scored in an unopposed crossing and finishing drill....!!

I would go as far as saying Kayal is possibly the best player I've seen in the stripes at The Amex.

Class act...

Vicente is the best player ever to play for the Albion, bar none.

Kayal is the best since. Entirely different kind of player, of course, but his BALANCE does actually have an air of El Punal about it.

Kayal is good, but have you ever heard of that Vicente chap?

Vicente showed glimpses of brilliance no doubt.

In Kayal I see a player in his prime, a leader and for me he edges Vicente.

Only my opinion, nice problem to have !!!

Did you not see Mark Lawrenson?

I would say pound for pound he was the best (in my lifetime anyway).

I can't believe I'll ever see a better Albion player than Lawrenson.

Vicente showed flashes of brilliance for us but they were just flashes. I reckon Kayal is the best we've seen at the Amex too - let's hope he keeps it up

Lawrenson achieved more, obviously. Vicente was an absolute magician. He went past people without even moving the ball. He just MADE them go the wrong way. Jedi.

I'd been excitedly going on about Vicente to the totally disinterested wife for months, although she did comment he was good looking. She decided to go to her first Albion game which was THAT Pompey game. Dull as dish water until Vicente came on and beat them single handedly. Wife turns to me when he scores his second and takes his top off and says "he's quite good isn't he? Why don't you get more players like him?"

This will never happen with Kayal.
