I phoned to enquire about buying a ticket yesterday and was on hold for 20 mins as I gradually went from 11th in the queue to 1st. Once I got to 1st I was told by recorded message that there was no one available to take my call and to leave a message. I did and predictably I have not had a call. Two minds if I can be arsed to try again.

And it is at Withdean which to the masses is reason enough not to bother.

I know the feeling I've forced myself to Withdean to see 3 games this season, all complete rubbish and no fun at all, I can't see myself paying full price again, so City game is out. Even at half price its expensive for quality/effort on show - trouble is too many people think like this and we'll be lucky have a club come Falmer!!

I'm not going because its Withdean and I just cant bear to travel down from London and spend and evening braving the elements in that place. I know people who feel exactly the same that live in Eastbourne which is hardly any effort at all.
I think until Falmer thousands now would rather not bother unless its a real glamour tie. It cant come quickly enough.
