700 is bloody good! There's plenty of time left to get tickets. I'm sure many won't have bought there's yet (my family for a start).

Are you sure. Have had hassle at both over the years, but found Stoke far more iffy than Plymouth.

I have been chased in Plymouth in the 80ies, I was slim then, but never had problems in stoke, port vale, mind you I am very discreet and usually travel with a child so dont get picked on a lot

I think it is just Stoke as a place makes it a worse day out. At least when we go to Plymouth we can either drink in the pubs around Exeter St Davids or head to the Barbican in Plymouth, where the Cider Press serves things that help you forget where you are....

was thinking of going to plymouth, anyone know how much the train will cost?

First Great Western website was quoting £36 via Reading from Three Bridges. I wouldn't have thought it would cost much more from Brighton. These are Apex fares and you have to choose which train you will travel on.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Its all so care in the community with Leeds fans.

Dont they realise that Brighton is a VILLAGE compared with their sprawling desolate 'not really known for anything' excuse for a city:glare:

Such a sweeping generalisation.

WHO CARES? :nono:

These types of threads really f*** me off....unlike some people on this board, football on a saturday is not the bee all and end all (sp?) of many peoples lives, and the fact that we've ONLY sold 700 tickets doesn't matter

People who put up figures of attendances on here are plums in my opinion, its the same sort of people who get a hard on by looking at their post count :nono:

Way out west
I will post my application tomorrow, so add one more to that total. Won't be going to Stoke, chose Plymouth instead as I haven't been there since they rebuilt the ground and I should make it there in a couple of hours or so down the M5. Have to admit that I wouldn't fancy travelling there from Sussex, the journey along the coast must rate as little short of hellish.
