I don't think many did travel from the south

I managed a 22 hour day (up at 4 on Saturday - got to bed at 2 on Sunday morning thanks to engineering works on the way home

Grrr. You couldn't hear the singing in the main stand? In the second half it was pretty much non-stop.:jester:
Sorry mate, but we couldnt hear a thing, the worst thing was listening to the BBC Northern Monkey in front of us refer to the 'small, muted Albion following':censored:

312? I remember the days when that was a good attendance for a Northern away game. Through the late 80's and early 90s it would be the same 150 - 200 every game and we were largely playing 1st division football. Always got at least 1000 to local games but Northern games would always be the same 20 - 30 or so on the train, one coach plus whoever lived local to the game or had driven.

And as chips and gravy puts it, some fans dont want to spend every single Saturday following the Albion, and have other things to do.

312 is pretty good considering some of the football wev been serving up recently.

Our game had 3,600 ish.

Last night against Bristol City they had 5,200. I can't believe that City took 2,000 all that way on a Tuesday night - so where did the extra 1,600 come from?

Apparently you got in free last night if you brought your trawler

The amount of rain they had on Saturday it would be able to float on the pitch by now
