I do not mean to be rude but 30 and 40 something Women in this country are drip fed by magazines, the women's magazines and their attitude to men are abhorent, tv, lose women and the whole girly chat is that men are to be derided and useless. This is bound to cross over to the mainstream. If you managed to listen into a group of women of this age range have a chat together it would be basically laughing at the uselessness and incompetance of men and ridiculing them. I doubt think this is particularly controversial I think everyone knows it to be true.

my ex football boss, same age as me met a older lady through a dating site and had a date in Brighton, she had pre booked a hotel and after dinner took him back there, when he turned up at foootball the following day, he could hardly walk, he had scratches and bruises all over his body, he said she was just plain dirty, solid sex in different positions and no holes barred, he actual words were "I feel like I have been raped" which had every player in the changing room in fits of laughter, and the funny ending to the story was that in the morning she gave him a brand new PS3 as a thank you, got in her car and left!!

I've registered on POF and think my profile/messages are actually quite different...but I hardly ever hear back from women and if you are not successful it can be really demoralizing. I know sometimes its a matter of time and waiting until the right person comes along, but most women on those sites get bombarded with messages and I never seem to hear back! Depressing...

However, to me the expectation of meeting someone on the site is not there...if I meet someone online, I see it as a bonus!

If you use that site as its free you have to realise if a Woman does send you a message she also has 20 blokes waiting in the wings. I used that site 2 years ago and found it demoralising. I reckon it is 10 blokes to 1 Woman on there.

I would say its 40 somethings. On a dating site I was on of the dozen who were rude, nuts or dishonest all bar one was 40 plus. I dont know why this was but it stood out enough to put a 39 limit up.

If you are talking about dating, I don't think labelling and stereotyping people whatever their age is exactly going to help you find someone. Surely you need to take people as you find them and see if you get on with them as an individual. We are all different! You have to kiss a fair few frogs before you find your prince / princess (so i've been told)!

Faulty logic, you need to be plugged in and re-wired US I've worked hard to get where I am and I am still paid less than the men in my position, and have to work harder and longer. Sorry just because I wear boots and skirts doesn't mean I call any shots at a senior level at the moment. I'll get there granted but purely as I outwork everyone - I'll probably die of stress before I get there too! As well as looking after a 6 year old and crafting brake pipes and fettling old fords when I'm asked to at home.....
