I can make endless puns about Harry Potter and his magic.
He took his family to another country to pursue his an unlikely dream.
He bothered to study psychology along the way.
He went from forgettable footballer to Premier League manager.
You can rate or not rate Potter as a manager, but as as person he commands respect.
Well remembered.
For me, it’s his sartorial elegance.
Just one thing hmm... His arse.
Or maybe that he likes to give players that other clubs find too bad / too small / too weird a chance to show what took them somewhere in the first place. Like in Östersund with their mix of rejects/refugees/ex-criminals/lower league English players, or in Swansea where he gave the chance to 10+ players previously seen as shite by former managers, believing that if they are allowed to express their personalities and qualities on the pitch, they can be good enough.
Agree. And the one thing I like about Potter is I feel we’re one striker away from being the full-ticket: a young, brilliant vibrant and exciting team. Feel, or maybe it’s hope.
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!"
