Absolutely agree with that.He wa spot on and made the show interesting.I also liked the way he saw the problems with have on and off the field. It's a shame Byrne and Harty cannot see it.
Can he host the phone in more often or take over from Harty.

Thought he did well, and no offence to Harty as he's a lovely bloke but Comedy Steve is a bit more evenly balanced and not so much of an Adams apologist.

Good show, well done that man.

I think JB is good too as he knows what he is talking about as an ex-pro, for example the bloke who said you need the tall blokes in the wall. Er, no - hmm, what might the oppo start to do then?

fed up with JB telling us he was in/(on?) the game for 20 years

Didn't listen right to the end... but I thought he did a great job. Somehow they managed to get some decent callers too - not just the same old same old rent-a-mouth's of recent months.

Only tuned in for 15 minutes of it, but it was certainly nice to hear someone who was down to earth and not up Adams' arse.

Just finished listening to my recording of it.

Stand in done well, Harty pissed was the highlight.

Production value was amateur, someone kept pushing the wrong buttons!

I promise that wasn't me! There was only 4 buttons to push and they didn't let me near any of them :)

I really enjoyed it but it was a one-off; it is Harty's show, and ironically the highlight was probably him phoning into it (!).

If you put the recording online can you send me a link because I'd like to hear back and see how I did / cringe at my cockups.

Well done. Thought you did very well CS. So refreshing to hear a balanced view unlike the Adams apologist.

Another positive - the creative throw in from the Carlisle bloke throwing the ball against Kavanagh's back
