Usually it's utter tripe though isn't it! But on this occasion, there's a fair element of truth. I have to be honest though, it doesn't appear people are too bothered...

I'm not at all busy at work though, so I'm tempted to go through and do what you've done but since the squad numbers started in 1999. It *might* take a little while to be fair but we shall see. I am here until 8pm and I'm reliably informed I might have already done as much as I'm required to do all day!

Well I would have done that, but could not find any data on squad numbers before 2008, Transfermkt website has some for 2008, but doesn't have all the players (Bradley Johnson being one of them) so couldn't complete it...
