A poor campaign. But he has done enough to earn another one

I know very little about rugby and the current England side, but from my sporting eye, it tells me there is no team work or anyone to inspire the team.

Am I missing something?

If that has been trained out of them then OUT and put Potter IN.

I think he has probably had his time. So, out for me.

Out.

If the dubious try against France hadn't been given last week, we'd have been looking at 4 defeats out of 5 in the 6 Nations.

That's not good enough for England who have gone backwards since the World Cup.

It's been a shocking Six Nations. I just hope it's a mix of transition versus pandemic, but he is walking a tightrope.

Out.

Time for a new voice on the training pitch. I’d like to see Shaun Edwards in our set up somewhere.

I really like Eddie Jones but it’s like he’s run out off ideas and is afraid of dropping out of form players, we need some fresh in form premiership players, I think he has to go, but who replaces him ?

This game was heralded as the players playing for a place in the lions squad, on that basis the lions test team is not going to have many English players in it !

This season Jones had a massive problem. A third of his team had not played any rugby, yet he played them in tbe first match against Scotland and - quelle surprise - they were all way off the pace and were soundly beaten. The underperfomring Sarries have been a problem throughout.

Then there has been the huge amount of penalties given away, especially by the forwards. Where is the discipline, where is the leadership?

England have been predictable and cumbersome, and the defence has been poor. Individual brilliance by the likes of May, Youngs and Watson has papered over the cracks, but this is a side that is inflexible and ill-disciplined. You'd never see an All Blacks side turning in 3 shocking performances against the Home Nations like we have seen.

I think Eddie Jones has been a success for England but the side is going backwards.

In his defence, I think the decision to effectively relegate Saracens from the Premiership has been disastrous for the national team, it's bad news for the Lions too. The level of performance of Genge, Cowan-Dickie, Jonny Hill and Ewers has been worse than expected, and even though Jones has been unlucky with injuries he continues to overlook Sam Simmonds in the same way he overlooked Alex Goode.

Which is the reason why there is no need for change. He just needs to get it sorted.
