4th bottom would be an achievement, based on recent showings. For all the big money spent in the Summer on randoms nobody ever heard of, hardly any of them have noticeably improved the side. Time to go back to basics with players who can hit the ground running?

The ref was unbelievably poor today, but we could have had Gully as ref and it wouldn't have made a difference.
