£75 for putting the end of a cigarette/rollup in a drain Bit excessive IMO. Wont do it again though
No point appealing it is there?

Was your ash tray full then
Where should a person put a cigarette end when they have finished with it but it's still burning if they are outside?

Next to the drain?
I'm not sure it was still burning anyway. There was probably a bin in a 30 metre walk in any direction being in a town centre. The thought of going on the hunt for one didnt even cross my mind
But surely if you read the other posts, that is what some have been fined for, presumably for littering?
Isn't putting a burning thing into a bin a little dangerous? Seems tough for smokers.
it wasn't a serious remark....I don't smoke so I must admit I'm not sure where...put it in your pocket and wait until you get home?

stub it out on the wall and put it in a pocket or something until you find somewhere APPROPRIATE ie a bin/ashtray to put it?
