Two, no, three things I've noticed. New blokes haven't got up to speed with the one touch passing, taking two or even three touches before releasing the ball, not had the rub of the green...any ricochets are falling to the french and the third......no, lost my train of thought!
Ok, more like a whinge up rather than an observation. Need to be more fluid. Mitoma and gross heavy touches......no, I'll leave it at that

We’ve been poor but so easily could be level. A fantastic save from Fati’s excellent header and a dreadful decision from Welbeck to shoot inside of just roll it square for Fati to score.

Fati and Welbeck have absolutely zero synergy together, and it’s all from Welbeck’s side. Once again, running into channels and losing the ball rather than passing to Fati, the big chance was emblematic of this theme.

Defence looks shaky as is the norm lately. I think they will grab a couple more and this could easily end up 4-5 against.

Need some steel in midfield, far too lightweight in my opinion. Oh and Mitoma has been absolutely toilet again.

Would say inside the ground the sound is deafening I can barely here myself think
. It’s the loudest ground I’ve ever been to by a mile. Very intimidating. We look shook. But had a reasonable last 15
This has to be a factor. Atmosphere is VERY different to English games, not sure how you can train for that.

Oh please, shut up!!!

We are so rubbish, we deserve to be bottom with zero points!
don't cry mate. I obviously have a little more faith than you... plus it's 14-1 for a reason... it's a punt

plus yes we have been dog sh1t and yet still could have gone in 2-2

Argh. So disappointing again. We appear to have absolutely no ability to defend. Such simple goals we give away time after time. We are non existent as soon as we lose the ball, just acres of space and time for the opposition. We're physically weak and don't play with any intensity.

It's making things very difficult for us - we have to be at our absolute best on the ball if we are to have any chance to overcome our uselessness without the ball.

We're really missing Caicedo and Ally Mac.

Just because a save looks great, doesn't mean it is. Steele made exaggerated motions to make an easy save (straight at him) look difficult.

See the Marseille keeper for some genuinely difficult saves tonight, that should have been goals.
You’ve clearly never played football with one of these balls then, did you see the movement on the ball as it’s travelling to him it’s moved last second away from his body and at that speed he’s done very well to keep it out. It’s fuc*ing ridiculous that steele has been blamed for anything about this performance on this thread.

Can he be blamed for Dunk nutmegging himself and being overlapped with no support from his winger? That first goal is on Mitoma, he has to be tracking that overlapping run Lamptey can’t do both.
I couldn't even see him in the frame when Dahoud was getting made an absolute mug of on the left side.

Bit more aggression second half would be good. Too many pulling out of challenges
