No virgin…. What’s the point of the commentary if we can’t listen to it in UK?
I’m watching on BT Sport, but would like to listen to Warren! Lol
I'm listening on the Albion website.

What happened to our big balls?

Marseille have looked sharper, stronger, fitter, more confident and more determined.

We have looked negative, nervous, lightweight and unambitious.

We have looked slightly better after the conceded goals, though.

They clearly have a quality shot stopper between their sticks. We don't. Steele very much at fault for the second, with Dunk - very poor goalkeeping from a very poor shot stopper.

Great effort from Fati with his header, but an even better save. Welbeck should have done better with his effort, but again, good goalkeeping from them.

We have very much reached our low point under RDZ. We're in poor form. Many predicted this would happen with the pressures of European football and it has.

I don't think we will turn this around... but we could. We need to be positive, as Marseille's weakness is their defense. If we play at our best we could win this - but we're not at our best at the moment, nowhere near.

Next goal could be massive. Bring on the 2nd half.
Steele kept it at 0-0 with a great save, he’s then made another great save to keep it 2-0. But saying he’s not a good shot stopper. Watching it in slow motion makes that goal look worse than what it was in normal time. Steele is moving from left to right and he’s hit it hard between his legs just couldn’t react in time to close them. A couple of inches either way and he saves it.

Brighton factually.....
Mitoma cannot defend. Every time he's letting his runner go and not tracking him. Was the same at villa
he’s been poor for a while if we’re being honest..

March also seems like he’s lost his spark, I think that penalty miss has affected his confidence.

This European tour seems, like it’s come too soon.

A fair assessment. Everyone looks off the pace with Mitoma probably the worst.

The way RDZ plays he NEEDS a physical midfield able to cover large distances, remember how many times last season we saw Moises galloping back and regaining the ball, can’t remember any of our midfielders doing that once this season?

Gross
Gilmour
Dahoud
Hilshelwood
Lallana

All technical players, very little physicality and strength

Just because a save looks great, doesn't mean it is. Steele made exaggerated motions to make an easy save (straight at him) look difficult.

See the Marseille keeper for some genuinely difficult saves tonight, that should have been goals.

They seem to have more players in both boxes! Our midfield has looked so soft this season.. Best combination has been Gross and Gilmour
