This game is a ridiculous mismatch. The Italians are only in it as hosts. It is like allowing Bognor play against Brazil. Three Italians have already got hurt which is sad but predictable.

Must say it isn't very exciting. The Canadian team seems embarassed. The Italians are fighting back, though - they just got the puck out of their own end twice in a couple of minutes. The 5' 3" goalie is making some good saves too.

The game must have got really boring. Took a quick phonecall and came back to find that the TV folks had decided enough was enough and had gone off to show some Chinese figure skaters. That's almost sacrilegious in this country.

Ooh, phew, they've just gone back to it. Game is almost over and it is 16-0.
