I don't care what it looks like. I am more worried what is going to happen after the Olympics. Do you think they might open this to the general public afterwards or are they going to be knocking it down and filling it in.

Would be absolutely crazy if they knock anything down. This could be the hub for all future athletes to use.

Not going to be knocked down! The whole park is going to made into part of the local area, rather than an isolated desolate wasteland like other Olympic parks

They should do what China did with their old Olympic swimming pool, I'm flying out to Beijing on the 7th and will be testing the facilities at the AquaCube it looks amazing!

I was lucky enough to be in the crowd at the aquatic centre last night. Is a fabulous building. The roof from the inside looks amazing. I was though expecting for it to be really humid inside like most swimming pools are, but it was perfectly cool.

I think the wings come off once the games are over. Then it will look much better.

Lol... so millions and millions of people worldwide will see this building looking shit and then when nobody is looking afterwards it will look great!:facepalm:
