Ollson - done up like a kipper

I thought the Ref was excellent apart from generously giving Olsson the benefit of the doubt.

Comments from their fans on the way home last night and also on their Forums suggest that Olsson is one of a clique of players who supposedly want away from Carrow Road. Seems it's not a happy dressing room and they aren't playing for the manager. Might explain some of Martin's post match comments and why most of their team (apart from Hoolahan) didn't look up for the fight.

Will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

We didn't play well at Newcastle but at least we didn't roll over

Like.

He certainly gave every impression of that with the 'injury'. Looked like he just wanted to get off the pitch, having embarrassed himself and generally lost the plot, but Alex Neil had that sussed.

Didn't like what Murray did at all. He basically cheated trying to get Olsson sent off. Poor from him.

The tackle on Skalak was silly so soon after a booking, but I don't think there was even any contact.

Imagine if that was Bruno and Jerome, he'd been sent off and the Norwich fans all cheered when Bruno was injured. We would be calling them classless cheats.

Olsson is absolutely quality. It's rare a left back can have so much influence on a game. He should be in the Prem in my opinion.

On the multi cam highlights on Player, you can clearly see Olsson kick Murray before they face each other. Murray, quite rightly, got booked for simulation. Olsson got booked for starting it.

You can also see, with the benefit of replays, contact with Jiri, although again, Jiri over reacted.

He limped up to a chauffeur driven car after the game, being escorted by one of our club officials.

Personally i thought he was lucky to stay on the pitch, I am suprised that towards the end of the first half we didnt get the ball a bit more to Knockaert to run at him.

I think the Crowd played a blinder on Saturday.. got right into them (Olsson and Pritchard) and it made a difference. Baying for red cards, cheering the substitution, putting pressure on them throughout with the booing.. what a home crowd is all about and great pantomime! I think the referee handled it well, and cheering Olsson when he was "injured".. everyone could see it wasn't that bad, if an injury at all.. the fact that he did it slipping over on the ball, then walked 50 yards before deciding it was bad enough to go down.. had he been stretchered off, I would expect the booing and cheering to stop.. he wasn't..

Olsson kicked Murray. Maybe Murray over reacted to the afters but Olsson had got sent off for that it would have been the right decision for the wrong reason.

Thought the ref played a blinder , he was calm spoke to the two players and the 2 captains , Martin told Olsson to shut the fk up and get on with it so fair play , imagine the outcome if the shyster had been the ref .

Absolutely spot on!

It's what being the 12th man is all about and, as you say, we played a blinder.

No sympathy for Olsson at all.

If memory serves me correct, he was part of a filthy visiting Blackburn team a couple of seasons ago and was lucky to stay on the pitch that day too.

Has anyone got a clip of Olsson falling over as he tried to swing the cross in? Apart from the goals, that was my highlight!
