Son has just phoned and said that he read that Giroud wants to go out on loan in January and WBA and Palace are favourites to sign him, he would be a good one for us to sign I would think. This will obviously be the first of many suggestions between now and February 1st but it is a break from yesterdays woes.

He's a bit of a left footed Murray, really. In fact, Murray would score as many in the Arsenal team...well maybe not but he is a bit 'samey'

West Ham and Palace according to Neil Moxey in The Mirror. He wants to stay in London apparently but perhaps he wouldn't mind a short commute.

He's a clear upgrade on Murray.
Lets get Ulloa in as well, then we can have an entire strikeforce who are either a little bit better or little bit worse than Murray, but crucially all the same.

Everything is always so difficult.

We have 2 players that perfectly fit that style of play.
What do you suggest happens when that style isn't working, a la v palace?

Is Giroud just "a little bit better" than Murray?

In fairness out of Giroud, Ulloa, Hemed & Murray it's tough to pinpoint the one a 'little bit worse'.

Tell Ben to have a word with his dad or uncle (whomsoever it may be).

Our style of play is predicated by the fact we have strikers with little pace. We need something different, not a slightly more well-know striker with little pace.

Ashley Barnes could do a job.

Can't believe there are people on here who think Olivier Giroud and Glenn Murray are of similar ability.

Comical. Oh, and no chance he would come here. None.
