He ain’t signing a new contract any time soon (like our out of contract boys) so we should get him for a good fee (but not the £500k Burnley swiped Barnes for!) as PSV will surely take what they can in the next window rather than see him walk for free.

He "revealed that a move to Brighton or any other club in January isn’t possible.

“That’s not in the plan, unless something really crazy happens.”

He was further asked about whether he would want to definitely leave PSV next summer....

“Yes, that is certainly possible because my contract is expiring. I want to be honest and clear. Something I really appreciate in our staff about Theo Lucius, for example. He just says what he thinks and then you don’t waste any time. Then there is no noise.

“There should not be a trace of doubt about my mindset now. Zero. No one can accuse me later that I have taken even one step less because I might leave. If there is any complaining, I have not done well.”
