According to Squarka, last season Norwood was statistically Readings best player and the second best player in the entire league finishing second to McCormack.

If the thought of Pritchard signing was giving people erections last night, is it fair to say that Norwood is giving people no wood?

Absolutely. Norwood is just the sort of player who will be able to slot into that midfield two seamlessly, with little to no reduction in quality. Takes an excellent set piece also (not that we're lacking in that area these days).

We now have comfortably the strongest set of centre-mids in my time supporting the club. Truly on another level to anything I can recall.

And comfortably the strongest set of central midfield players in the Championship to my mind too.

Don't like the quote where he says - Norwood is great at passing backwards, sideways, backwards as that sounds like JFC and Bridcutt :(

The last thing we need is another player-of-the-season-winning-metronomic-passing-midfield-maestro like Bridcutt. The horror.

Let's just give it a go, and see what happens.

Brighton factually.....
Reading fans seem genuinely nonplussed.

They are like that on a good day, biscuit men says it all really...

I am pleased good cover, and was obviously an on going deal at the same time as the ill fated Pratard deal... Maybe there is more to come.... Keep the faith....
