LOL, they locked the door on him, wouldnt let him leave, battered him, nicked his watch, let him out and got done another 5 times outside the pub, i only got away with 3 beatings that day. snowing if i remember rightly?

Yes it was. I went up on a mini bus and stayed overnight in some dodgy B&B. Stayed in all night shivering my bollocks off, whilst the others I were with (the guy from the bournemouth away video) went into Manchester.

Yep 2 more of us on the train. A few beers in Manchester, a birthday drink with Uncle Buck, then a taxi to the ground from outside Victoria station.
I remember the game in the FA Cup when it kicked off all over the place. The car park saw running battles at the final whistle (think there was a Gulls Eye coach up there that day). It was freezing cold and raining and we got soaked and frozen on the big open terrace. I think we went 1up but then fell to bits as we couldn't adapt to the plastic pitch! When we went back for the league game we lost 6-1 (I recal Dean Wilkins scored our only goal but it was the best of the game). They stuck us down the side for that game and gave Oldham the usual away end.
