For those of you travelling by train, the local train stations in Oldham have all been closed down.

Advice from Oldham's club shop is to get the train to Manchester Piccadilly or Rochdale, then get the bus from there.

Yeah - but it's 50 mins walk away from Boundary Park.

Footballgroundsguide says the following...

Due to improvement works to the line from Manchester, the two closest stations to the ground, Oldham Mumps and Oldham Werneth are both currently closed. This leaves only Oldham Mill Hills station, but this is some 50 minutes walk away from the ground, so it is somewhat impractical.

Jon Brierley adds; 'Alternatively, rather than getting a train from Manchester to Oldham, you may find it easier to take a bus from Manchester Piccadilly Bus Station. Services numbers 24, 181 & 182 make the 25 minute trip to Oldham and go past the ground. They operate six buses an hour on Saturday afternoons, with three an hour on evenings and Sundays.

There is a pub right next to Mills Hill station, you can go in there and have a pint while you wait for a cab. Should be no more than a couple of squid each between four of you.
