Doesn't seem that there is much discussion about Saturday.

Aren't many going as it's not the nicest place to go?

Anyone with inside knowledge aware of POTG as I wont know my availability
til Thursday/Friday.

I'm still suffering from the memory of being at the 6-1 thrashing we received up there way back when. Vowed never to back!

I'm going, being up there at the weekend anyway.

No train up there remember, so it's a bus from Manchester Piccadilly.

Pay on the day. Driving up before the game then stopping with my brother for the night so I can enjoy a beer.
The ground is pretty well past its sell-by date but there are worse (Stoke is colder) and their fans aren't a bad bunch. You have to admire them when you think that they stay loyal despite all the alternative attractions literally on their doorstep.

Yep check on the Oldham FC site.

There are 2 or 3 buses that go from Manc Pic to the ground. It's easy. Not sure if they drop you directly outside the ground, but that in itself is just off the main road where the buses go.

Cold ground and most miserable fans in the League, mind you I'd be unhappy if I lived in Oldham.

horrible place...makes hudderfield look like Richmond! Not going as I can't be arsed with away games anymore this season ( apart from Notts county obviously). BUT i am not in agreement with all this domm and gloom and " this is going to be a tricky one" Stains, who we tell everyone are not as good as us, put 6 past them at Oldham ( or was it 5)anyway.....we should slaughter them on saturday.

I am expecting to flick on to Sky Sports during a break in the rugby to find we are scoring for fun!

Doubt it'll be less than Yeovil on a Tuesday. It's a decent ground atmosphere wise, you can park next to the turnstile, there are (contrary to popular mythology) some decent boozers nearby. We have quite a good record there.I'm hoping for 1,000.
