Indeed, not to mention that I was unshaven at the time and had at least 3 fully visible tattoos.

The problem was that one of the tattoos on show was "MUM"...

I am 25 and got asked for ID the other day in a pub, this was about quater to 7 and the barmaid was concerned whether I could stay in the pub after 8pm or not, "no kids allowed after 8, you see". Genuinely outrageous from my point of view, but fair enough from hers.

In all the main clubs and bars in Brighton the door staff are told to ID literally everyone. Could be something about letting too many people from a specific town into their premises. I seem to remember a time when Walkabout, Oceana etc weren\'t letting ANYONE in from Crawley (haha).

Got ID\'d buying a scratchcard in the local Co-Op just before Christmas by a girl who was in my year at school. I told her she knows exactly how old I am (25), but she was just being a prick for want of a better word.

Still had to produce my ID though...some people.

The ridiculous thing about the whole incident is that after I said that I didn't have any ID on me (I don't drive, and for some reason wasn't carrying my passport around the supermarket), the lady behind the till just said "Oh OK, I'm sure it's fine" and proceeded to serve me anyway!

That was exactly my case. I haven't had my hair cut for 6 months. I was unshaven and for the first time actually look my age rather than younger.

:lolol: 60 The driver wanted to see my bus pass :lolol:

61 me. Got asked in Asda purchasing my lottery ticket wednesday morning. Then on the other hand coming home from the game last Saturday a young lad offered me his seat on the train to save me standing. Take it I am youthful looking AM but PM turn into a doddery OAP.

It's in case you're taken unconscious/involved in a fight, they want your address.

Those annoying nightclub flyer people have stopped giving me their handouts now, which is actually quite depressing.

Twice in one day in Atlanta last August. I'm 51.

The barmaid at lunchtime was 20, not old enough to drink. Then at the Baseball game in the evening; couldn't believe I was asked again so I asked the girl serving how old she REALLY thought I was. "32" she replied. She got a good tip for that but why ask? Apparently they are not allowed to think for themselves in the southern States. Seriously.

So if you want an ego boost, you know where to go on holiday.

I'm 20 and I don't look at all old, however very rarely get ID'd in tesco's etc. Always get ID'd on a night out though without fail!

You're 39?!?!? Christ on a bike. I thought you was about 25!!!!!

Spiritually and mentally 25 I'm sure ) I'm surprised you thought I was 25 though. Surely my posts about my girlfriend have taught you what years of experience I have in dealing with both life and the "fairer" sex.
