My first arrived two weeks late on my 33rd birthday and has been late ever since ! Also everybody seems to have forgotten it's my birthday too !!!!!

Good god .... are you mad ? Have to admit I suffer from smug parent syndrome. All my kids are old enough to take out anywhere and old enough to be left. If I get up early it's because I want to. All I have to do is throw them the odd bit of food every now and then.

Slightly different in my case, as my kids are adopted - they arrived a couple of months before my 50th (but they keep me young)

I wish I'd become a grandparent a bit younger for this same reason ..the little chap is only 2 and a bit and I'm definitely going to be in goal when the time comes
