Now i know many of you like a shirt emblazoned with your favourite band or artist.

There are certainly many many interesting ones out there

Now Phil of http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/index.php fame (35,000th shirt added this week) has another site dedicated to the rock shirt.

so if you have any at the back of your wardrobe or lying on the floor take a pic & add it to http://www.oldrockshirts.com/en/index.php

Old rock shirts is also sponsoring the very fine 'This is Rock & Goal' radio show which airs on saturdays on radio reverb 97.2 fm & www.radioreverb.com at 12 (until the Albion Roar returns ....obviously)

As long as it's not a 14 year old wearing a f***ing Ramones shirt from Topman I'm happy.

I had a huge collection years ago and when I moved house I left them at my folks house for storage in a black bin liner and my mum decided they were just a bunch of old rags and binned them. I was gutted.

Great idea for a spin off site though.

Wearing my Rush R-30 tour shirt from 2004 today. I used to have loads of old rock shirts and now have virtually none. My favourite was old baseball-style t-shirt from Donington Monsters of Rock 1984 which had King Kong scaling the Empire state building emblazoned with AC/DC, Van Halen, Ozzy, Gary Moore, Y&T, Accept and Motley Crüe what a glorious day that was.

Subtle.

Did the terms of the sponsorship deal require you to spam lots of sites or does NSC get special treatment?

I have loads of old Jam t-shirts from the early 80s which my son and daughter wear as 'retro chic'.

I don't get the issue with The Ramones t-shirt - if it's become iconic enough for TopShop to sell what's the problem?

Primark did a range of Beatles t-shirts recently, the finest being the 'Revolver' cover. My ten year old thinks it's the dog's - he also loves the album as well, but if he didn't so what?

I have an earlier Iron Maiden footie shirt which now is bit on the small side, and alarmingly but not unsurprisingly bearing in mind Steve Harris does look a bit West Ham.

And it drives me nuts when I see some young bird sporting an old Maiden t- shirt when they have no clue who they are.

If it is, then it's worth a considerable amount nowadays.
