I look nothing like him!
It looks like two of the trees there are still with us.
Reminds me of this beautyPool Valley, as we remember it in the 60s

Amazing shot. Grover’s was still there as a shop (not business) until just before the pandemic. Petrol station is superb. Can’t believe that’s after 1972.
I was going to say how did you know it was after 1972, then I looked at the number plate on the car (Vauxhall Victor?) and saw it was a 'K' plate - although I suppose to be accurate you should say 'some time after August 1971'Amazing shot. I lived in Clermont Road and got the train to junior school from there in 1964. Makes you feel really old when the pics on here were taken after you remember a place!Amazing shot. Think it’s a Marina on the K. Yep, should’ve known K was 71. My brother sold me his rotten 1968 Mark 1 Escort on a G and we still bicker about that now.I was going to say how did you know it was after 1972, then I looked at the number plate on the car (Vauxhall Victor?) and saw it was a 'K' plate - although I suppose to be accurate you should say 'some time after August 1971'
LATE EDIT: Interesting that the station nameboard is in the original British Railways format rather than one of the black on white 'Rail alphabet' signs that were used after the 1965 rebrand to British Rail.
That car park takes some beating in its uglinessThe Grand Theatre, North Road?

don’t think the greens have been around that long, so for once they’re off the hook.Ask that question in the Argus and it will be all the fault of the Greens.
