Why not cut out all the legal shit and just get West Ham to agree to send down a full strength side for a pre season friendly and let us keep all the gate reciepts? With all the ticket applications the club had for the cup game there should'nt be any problem filling Withdean for a return fixture! And as it would be a home game STH's can have first pick on tickets to keep them happy as well.

BUT...we have experience of spending out millions on fancy lawyers and barristers and where has it got us?

I would not risk any more money ( especially as we havent any anyway) on something that may well take years to sort out. The Premier League recon its fair that they are fined....that doesnt leave much else for anyone else.

Shouldn't the FA compensate us from the money that they receive from the fine they have imposed on West Ham? ???

So long as we go to West Ham to negotiate a settlement, rather than going to court.

Last thing we need is yet more legal costs.

That's what I would have thought. The FA acted when Bury did the same thing.

So the FA can fine West Ham on top of what the Premier league have fined them then?

If not, can't the FA claim some of the money from the Premier League to pay us?

Bloody divisions in English football!
