Where do we go from here?
was just on the bbc football website and the league 1 page shows the current table. we are currently 2nd, our points scored and goal difference obviously being the same as everone else's.
but was just wondering, what determines a club's position in the table once the usual separators have failed. i know it goes points > gd > goals scored, but then is it results against the other team in question? does it ever get alphabetical? and if so, has alphabetical advantage ever been used to separate teams the end of a season, or even determine a relegation/promotion spot?
