I feel it's time I had a little rant. I have ridiculous amounts of Uni work to do and doing a masters, as those who have done one will know, involves a little more than sleeping and drinking (which I don't mind admitting I did for a large proportion of my degree). All I can think about at the moment is Saturday, it's stressing me out no end... Though it doesn't really matter, as El Pres so succinctly put (in my signature) it really does control your whole state of mind. Not really sure where I'm going with this, but I'd be interested to see how it is affecting others. Maybe some are pleased the season is being dragged out? I reckon I would've done a hell of a lot more work this week if we'd just scored that one more goal at Huddersfield.

Anyway, let's get that win on Saturday, have a big piss up, and get on with our lives!:albion2:

I'm managing to sort of avoid thinking about it at the moment because I'm quite busy at work. Whenever I do think about it it terrifies me though.

As an ex season ticket holder, away follower Ive felt flat about watching Brighton for the last few seasons but the last few months have re-kindled my appetite and instead of working hard I am thinking about Saturday and being enthused by football again, so for me its a positive because I love loving football again

By the way, do you think the above pic is what Slade will do to Gannon at the end of the match?

I cannot stop thinking about it. First year law exams (which I wish were as much of a doss as you describe in your post notters!) to revise for and I just cant stop thinking of how depressing it will be if we go down and how great it will be if we stay up....ahhh!!

I know exactly what you mean. Revision has gone down the shitter since saturday. I've got an exam at half 1 and its not even that local, should probably get moving...

2:1's are being given out as standard across all universities if you are sporting a 'slade' bald cap on entry to the exam hall! :yahoo:

...and you're in Nottingham just like I was. Exams always suck though. I've got an Environmental Law lecture this aftenoon, can't get my head round law at all.

I do the BBC predcitor at least twice a day. I sat and listened to the the Northampton game last night because I wanted one more out for us. I am even checking NSC when I should be working in case there is some major news like Hartlepool or Orient going bust. I am boring the Leeds fan in my office of what will happen with every permutation of results.

Other then that I hadn't even thought about it.

To be honest I am delighted that the season has been extended to the last day and it is in our hands but it is difficult to stop thinking about it. I work with a Carlisle fan so next week could be quite interesting if one of us puts the other down, which looks likely (hopefully Northampton go down and we can both celebrate).

I think we have done incredibly well to have survived until now let alone have survival in our own hands considering where we were a few weeks ago. All logic says that we should do better at home to Stockport than Northampton do at Leeds and at least as well as Carlisle do at home to Millwall, especially given our recent form.

However, there is no logic to football and it will be good to end the season (assuming we survive and keep Russell Slade).
