Before the game 2 points dropped at half time when I was putting my head in the oven 1 point gained!

On balance this was a depleted Wolves team with not much on the bench and could have been 3 points.

Nuno looked gutted during his post match interview.

There we go then.
I reckon this is one of those results that has ended in a draw but it's actually a victory for us and a loss for them.
I know on paper it's only one point but the way this one point was won will give them the belief to gain more in the future than we would have done had we lost today.

Oh and we always concede from set pieces and never take advantage of them?
That was the general consensus after the last few games

Two points dropped - that was a poor Wolves side who are missing a number of key players and left them with a bench full of kids.

Reminds me of the West Ham away game last season where so many people got excited about the comeback and forgot how poor we were for most of the match.

A point gained after the first half.
They showed a lot of spirit coming back in the second half.
Let's hope it is a turning point.

A number of clangers dropped and one reprieve for Potter gained

I dunno what the in-play was, but I would have given you any odds you wanted at half time on salvaging something from that game.

For me, at half time, that was the most unexpected point of the season.

This is true. However, does one measure a point dropped/two gained vs expectations against the oppo (good side, but bit out of form and missing their best player), or versus half time (after we’ve given them 3 goals via s**t marking and, well, Dan Burn)? I went with two dropped as (like many games recently that we drew) that was a winnable game. But would have bitten your arm off for a point at half time.

After the Sheffield catastrophe, I've reached the point where I don't really expect anything going into games now. I set my expectations at zero, and work my way up from there. At 1-0, I reckoned we might get a point. At half time, I just wanted to avoid a beasting. So a point was an unexpected bonus, that could still have been easily whipped away with the last kick of the game.

I think 2 are down. Its just a shootout now between us and Fulham.

I agree with the summation (Palace’s win today pretty much ensures they are going to grind their way to survival again). My concern is, Fulham have sorted their defence, and have a number of attackers (including one not making the starting XI) who would improve our side. I remain a fan of Lookman (awful penalty apart) - exactly the sort of player we needed to target. I think they’ll get above us.

I can tell you the draw was 11/1 😉

In Maupay we have a striker who reached double figures last season and looks like doing the same this season. This is what you need if you are to stay up. Who do Fulham have?

Parker has got a semblance of a Prem defence but they will struggle for goals unless they buy big or Mitrovic gets his head together and loses a few pounds.

They have improved of late, but I think anyone who finishes below Fulham are doomed. Without putting on the vulture wings, if their covid squad continues to struggle to put a team out, we may catch a break.

Sky were keen to remind us that Wolves dropped 2 from a winning position. But so did we.....
