My 6aside team was playing on the pitch next to it. I couldn't play that week but my mates said the paramedic was an absolute hero.

I was witness to that, although didn't know what was going on until I heard his daughter say to her mum 'Dad's doing CPR out there' as I was already inside after training. I was also ready to take over as I knew the guy doing the compressions had back problems, both being from the Harriers.

Was also good luck that a paramedic crew were only around the corner.
