Sounds like a win-win deal all round. Apart from if you're Forest. Or possibly Chris.

Yes, couldn't agree more with both paras, though many years ago, who would have thought we were saying that about CMS. If he is going and Colunga is unlikely to be playing, then one assumes that the Albion have something up their sleeve. Hemed and Baldock will not always be able to play -injuries/suspensions etc. Elvis is of course an option, so we hear, but nonetheless a bit of a gamble.
3 senior forwards with Hambo and Harper as back ups should be enough for the season. There'd be no point in recruiting these young players if their chance of first team action is dependent on 3 or more players being unavailable.

Did he leave before kick-off at the Walsall match ? ???

He didn't board the team bus after the match, apparently. He just climbed onto his penalty and away he went into the night sky, orbiting the earth a couple of times before landing in Nottingham.

Good luck Chris... until recently, he always did at least reasonably well for us... not the worst player, just not good enough if we are serious about top 6 IMHO.

Perfectly put. There are some right twàts on here. He's always worked hard and done the right thing in his time at the club. Sure, he's not good enough and was a liability against Walsall but he's really not worthy of some of the abuse from some on this site.

As has already been said, his league 'form' was just about spot on, this season.
He did exactly what was needed when it was needed.

But that's not the job of a first XI striker, being paid a first XI wage.

The abuse is relevant to the ability and application shown for us which was very little. What would you expect people to say he was great sorry to see him go? As I said earlier hope he finishes top scorer at Forest with 10 goals.

Little application? Whatever you can say about COG, he was a hard-working player who always put in a shift

Quite how anybody who knew anything about football thought he'd be worth 15k a week beggars belief, however hard he tries on the pitch. One goal in over a year really is a terrible return. I am happy for him to try his luck elsewhere and hopefully Forest are picking up the bulk of the excessive wage too.

And people reckon CMS ran around like a headless chicken. Perhaps not entirely his fault but he didnt play others into the game. I am sure we shall see of isolated games like Fulham away 1 lay off but is that adequate return for his time here?...No it isnt.

COG was better than CMS last season imo, not saying much but COG did help us to stay up CMS did close on F all.

Maybe so but still ran around with no direction or purpose. Simply not good enough for The Championship. Will serve Forest well when they get relegated or a team like Rotherham but not one with aspirations of promotion or success.

What's holding this move up? Antonio has gone now, hasn't he?
