Absolutely, it's bizarre to think how heavily dependent we were on what is now a fringe squad player, less than 12 months ago. He really was brilliant.

For about three games. In three years.

He really was good for that magic little spell, though. So were Hinshelwood, Fraser and Loft. Crazy times.

He was. I know Owusu got the goals but Hart channeled the spirit of Gianfranco Zola for those games.

Andy Whing was the same as Hart. Just on fire, loads of last ditch tackles and clearances, he was a god that actually cared about staying up. It was almost like Terry Butcher down the wing. Then he disappeared off the face of the planet taking the player of the season award with him

His 'hero to zero' moment came after just one game - the OG against Walsall.

Gary Hart would be immense at that level, don't forget he went to Havant and Waterlooville last season to get some match fitness back, prior to steaming back into the first team with some awsome displays in front of Slade for the reserves.

Quality player.
