i know, i know!!

we won and it is too early to jump on the 'oatway out' bandwagon.

but, i feel like we lacked a bit of foward running and creativity in midfield today. chippie, jolly an charlie are just all to similar IMHO.

i fancy harty in next game.

what u reckon??

Coppell likes 4-4-2. We did look better when Hart came on. Before that we had no-one on the right

Didn't surprise me that OGH didn't start yesterday. I reckon it was a bit of a kick up the arse from Sir Steve. I think OGH was one of the senior professionals SC wasn't overly happy with pre-season.

If Charlie played well - keep him in (especially for QPR next Monday)

I doubt that very much.

Fact is, OGH will very rarely get into a 5-3-2 because his role is taken by the right wing-back. And he's certainly never going to beat Oatway for a central midfield position.

As I said in another thread, I think we'll play 4-4-2 more than anything else this season so OGH won't be missing from many starting line-ups (unless Kanchelskis signs).

Here's a question though: if we do stick to 5-3-2, how about OGH for Watson? Although Watson was pretty good yesterday.

In fairness to Oatway he was committed yesterday, it is just at times he looks a tad lacking, the game has a habit of passing him by. There were a couple of incidents yesterday where it seemed he had no first touch, it needed somebody to put their foot on the ball and he could not do it. Will be interesting when Peircy is fit, however as Adams used to say you should not change a winning team.
