I'm looking forward to the players reactions when they are told they need to take their own training and match day kits home, and wash them themselves, because the laundry staff have all been sacked.
Can’t see Luke Shaw bringing the half time oranges in.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe at Man United is currently going through the Sir Alan Sugar learning process at Tottenham ie you can throw your money and your bullying around as much as you like, but football dances to its own beat in its own time. It'll still be there when you're long gone

What a shitshow. If it wasn't for the poor people losing their jobs – to pay for the absolute berks that are earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a WEEK – I would find it hilarious. As it is, I just find it sad for the people who have suffered at the hands of Offshore Jim (h/t @El Presidente)

They also own a 1/3rd of the Mercedes Benz F1 team as well.
Yup. The prominent INEOS red strip on the top of the engine cover is gone from this year's livery, though. INEOS logo is still on the car (on the nose), but their red is gone and what remains is far less prominent. Suggests to me they've downsized from being a part-owner + sponsor to just part-owner. They've axed their deal with the All Blacks, and cutting money from their America's Cup efforts as well.

Looks a little like they may have failed to do their due diligence on that Man Utd purchase and found that it's going to cost them a lot more than they thought.

You can understand why they will no longer provide a free canteen for workers at the club, it will save them £1,000,000 per annum.

With those kind of savings, they will save nearly a month of Casimiros wages per year.

How much goodwill they have already lost is unquantifiable.

The extract from the accounts in post #58 reveals that they only have 81 full time, non-playing staff.

Even if ALL of them work at the training ground (which obviously they don't), £1m would equate to about £250 per worker, per week, for their staff lunch. Unless they have Salt Bae serving up gold-plated steaks in the canteen, this seems an unlikely figure.

Watch them go and spend another £100m on average players in the summer.

It will be interesting to see if they can given their PSR problems. The sounds coming from the club suggests they can't spend even if they wanted to
What an asbolute farce that club has become.
It's also great news for us right? Any regular top half club which looks set to become a regular bottom half club just by imploding gets us an extra league place without particularly having to improve

But to be fair Casemiro looks and plays like someone who has a very big appetite

It was the figure I heard quoted on the news, I have no idea if it’s true.
