his foot was in the air, but his knee was on the touchline. however, i didn't see a single replay that proved his knee hit the line before he touched down.

hey ho..that's sport for you. the best team won and the English fellas gave me a couple more weeks of interest than i was expecting. well done lads.

i did say at the outset that the saafies would win the wc.....great effort by england, but came up short.

most people recxoned they would go out in the 1st round so they can be rightly proud.

SA were much stronger side, but our passion, desire and commitment was spot on. I'm not a huge Rugby fan, but the decision not to give that try was a total disgrace and the ref was a total wanker. How many obstructions didn't he see?!

Back from a day's worth of beer & rugga.

Yes, a try should have been given, but the better team won. So no point in moaning.

At least Worthing won thir game today.

that was a try, and would have changed the game big style. none of the replays gave any indication that his left foot was out before he touched down, disgraceful reffing (and SA's last pen was dubious)!

His feet were clear but someone in the pub said his knee was in touch.

We did beat the Aussies and the French and got to a second consecutive final so overall we did well.

Not sour grapes as the best team won, but I couldn't see any reason why they could disallow that try.

I watched it back on Sky+ this morning and paused it at the crucial moment and i can categorically state that it was ......NOT a try. Cueto's toe made contact with the line before the ball was grounded.

If you have it on Sky+ the replay you want is the one from behind, Cueto for some reason lifts the ball up slightly before grounding it losing crucial split seconds.

All I can say is "I'm Proud Of Them" we lost but they gave 100% and you can't ask for more than that. It was always going to be hard, SA are a VERY good side but we gave them a real battle right up to the final whistle.
So lets look forward to a great Six nations because I think we got a few youngsters who are growing up fast Tait,Noon etc and will be the nucleus of a winning team !
