For anybody who might be in the path of today's eclipse

Totality here will be at 3:13pm, in about 2 hours from now. Weather is looking pretty decent. It was very overcast this morning but most of the clouds have cleared out.

Obviously I don't need to tell anybody here not to stare directly at the sun. I mean, you'd have to be real idiot to do that...

Jealous, very much on my bucket list to do a total eclipse somewhere

This in 2026 is the closest well get to one in Blighty for most of us

I'm hoping the sky clears here but it's looking quite cloudy at the moment. Got my eclipse glasses ready!

1999 me and the kids had an eclipse party...well orange juice and crisps outside with our pin pricked piece of cardboard and sheet of paper. very strange, all the birds went to roost for five minutes!

Well that was disappointing. It seems like the heaviest cloud cover came in just as it was peaking here. It just went dark for a few minutes and the streetlamps came on.

Ours was pretty good. The clouds did start to roll back in again, but the eclipse was clearly visible. Pretty eerie. And over far too quickly.

Bit like my sex life.
