I think Cleverly and Milner are the weak links at the moment, take off Milner for Walcott, and Cleverly for anyone.

Just seen Walcott isn't on the bench :dunce:

Here we are 9.00pm and only 2 pages of posts. Suggests lack of interest!
Who is more annoying tonight?Andy Townsend or Tom Cleverly

Slightly aside,

On Sky and looking at Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, Scotland 1-1, Wales 4 - 1 down and Northern Ireland 1 - 0 up.

England 1 - 0 down currently.

Is this some sort of representation of everything that is wrong with 'British' soccer, and specifically the adverse influence of the 'Premier League'

I mean, it is not exactly like any of the home countries are playing against absolutely top drawer opposition.

Please correct me if I am wrong !

Nice penalty, back to 1-1 but still not much of a match from England second half imo.

When fans watch club football, they appreciate that their team can't win every match. Even the top two clubs drop points against the bottom clubs, but when England play, fans expect them to win every game against average opposition. If it weren't for the ref, we would have won this.

I don't expect us to win every game but I do expect a better passing game than was on show tonight - only Glen Johnson can be proud of his passing tonight imo the rest was far too loose.

Give them a little slack they have only been introduced to passing in the last week, bless'em, up to now the defence and midfield are use to watching the ball rush over their heads from another hoof from Hart, readying themselves for the ball to come straight back. This passing game is alien to this overpaid unskilled kick'n'rush group.
