It's OK he's had his foot transplanted there. It looks like something from American Horror Story. The lack of concern on the beautiful dog's face is classic. " Come on lets get on with it".

23.30 at Worthing today. I'm back in the AG 70%+, with a 71.35% so please feel free include this when you next update. No great shakes but a 45 second improvement on last week - and less coughing, too.
Cheers!

Good stuff!
I’m not proud of it, but for the sake of completeness and while I remember, could you add my 23:39 (70.26%) from 4 Jan at Preston Park which is my SB so far (until after marathon training probably)?
Cheers

Thanks. 98m ascent on that too, may have to try a flatter Leeds one to see how fast I can go.

I see from Strava it was the teeny, tiny hill at Bradford. Have you done Cliffe Castle - the hill there is a brute!
I’ve done quite a few around Leeds as in laws are near Skipton - Roundhay, Skipton, Myrtle but the pick is Fountains Abbey - have you been? Best one I’ve done. None of the above are flat - maybe Woodhouse Moor would be best for a fast time.

This is destined to become a collector's piece for the hard core of your extensive fan-base.

PS I'm sure it winked at me.

Went for a bit of a run along the prom. Funnily enough I was the only geezer even trying to run. I've never been out in worse conditions. Only managed about 3k; that was enough.

Saw a few people out on the prom in Hove, strangely they seemed to be running much faster in one direction than the other. Only one cyclist, who we overtook cycling into the wind (we were walking).

No running for me since thursday, it's been a nice little break and this week will be slowly paced as well. Then next week the miles will crank up and I'll be ready to deliver myself in April ready to shine.

Three weeks with virtually no running for me, plus mountains of brilliant food so in awful shape right now...................about time I got my arse in gear. Going on the AF wagon too. Time to crack on

Very sensible Ninja. Your approach to training is impeccable.

An impromptu fast-paced couple of miles this morning as I chased Bobkin Jnr to school on his bike (they've got Bikeability (cycling proficiency in old money) this week). Quite enjoyable but knackering!

Been off for 10 days with a calf strain (I think) after running more than usual in January (only 60 miles or so). Feels okay now but I guess the advice is to really ease back in to it eh?
