Seriously, unlike those fat American footballers who do SO little to earn their extraordinary salaries, ice hockey and baseball players at least put in the hours and don't moan about being tired when asked to play two games within three or four days either. They are beasts.

That bit last night when the puck flew into the side of the Chicago player's face - leaving him out cold practically with his tongue lolling on the ice before he got up and played on - would literally have taken Dan Harding's pretty little blond head off.

Some interesting moves in the NHL draft. Florida Panthers make a gutsy move with Aleksander Barkov, making him No. 2 – many had expected Nathan McKinnon or Seth Jones to be the top 2. Tampa took Jonathan Drouin with Nashville taking Jones.
