This game is now officially ridiculous. 30 seconds left and Washington just scored from an 86 yard pass. Seibert then missed a SECOND extra point. 27-26 Cowboys.
Just watched that. The commentator mentioned before that they'd seen a missed extra point previously and that it wasn't a given.

Crazy end to the game. And then the Cowboys score another TD. :ROFLMAO:

A bad home defeat by the Titans for my consistently inconsistent Texans who beat themselves with penalties.

The AFC South is so underwhelming that the Jags could quite feasibly beat us next week, but I'd still fancy us to finish above the Colts.

Whoever ends up with the division already looks like being nailed on 4th seeds with a possible sub-0.500 record and negative net points.

One and done it is then.

That was our chosen game on Gamepass, just kept waiting for the Texans explosion…..

A lot of local discourse saying that  this is why we don't need a domed stadium.
I tend to agree. I think football is an outdoor sport. But the organisation seem to think they can make a lot more money with a dome. They sent me* an email justifying their position, and from the defensive tone I gathered they were expecting a bit of flack.

As an aside it shows how quickly US teams can change stadia. The Browns have only been at Huntington Bank since 1999. That would still qualify as their 'new ground' in the UK.

*I'm sure it wasn't just me, but everyone on the mailing list.

Still reeling from the Commanders defeat last night. An utter sh*tshow from the Commanders offense, really, really bad. Even then the chance to win the game was there at the end and we miss the XP, should have gone for two.

It would churlish of me in the extreme to not commend the Cowboys for at least moving the ball and showing some fight when their season is already over.

Division games are just something else and quite frankly the Commanders will deserve all the brickbats that get sent their way.

Broncos sweep the silver and black clowns for the first time since 2014 to go 7-5. Not sure you can too excited about beating a team with Gardner Minshew at QB though.

Seattle defense showed up big again. Looks like something "clicked" for them over bye week.

Now if we could only start to get that run game going and Geno stop to turn the ball over stupidly we would be a pretty good team.

SF (tbf without Purdy and several other key players) and LAR both got spanked too so great Sunday. Top of the NFC West now but still all teams within one game.

Barkley with a HUGE game against the Rams. 255 yards and 2 TDs. Singlehandedly brought my fantasy team back to life after I thought it was over. Already has more yards (1.392) than in his best season for NYG (2022 - 1.312 yards). And just a TD away from tying his career best (11 rush TDs in rookie season 2018). All that with 6 games to play. Needs to average just above 100 yds/game to get into the elite 2.000-yard club. Eric Dickerson's rushing record (2.105 yards) not out of reach either if he can put together a few more big games. 6,2 Y/A is insane too. I would say he should be a legitimate MVP contender end of the season if he stays healthy and continues like this but as we know award will most likely go to a QB as usual.

Also, still can't believe the Giants paid Danny Dimes instead of Saquon.

Sat in the hotel bar in Fort Lauderdale last night watching the Eagles game.

Fair to say eagles are the millwall of NFL

None likes us
We don’t care

The commentary was so bloody one sided and comments around me in “ Trumps backyard “ was bordering on racist BS.

This rather drunk twat kept questioning my support of the eagles 🦅 even after explaining at least 3 times that I worked in Philly. Told me at one point that the Aussies ( yes I know) don’t understand real sport and putin and trump hates all gays and will deport them. Thing was most of the 50 or so people in the bar were nodding along in agreement

This country is wierd.

In fairness, probably one of the cleaner games we've played with Minshew under center all season, one boneheaded pick aside - he's been worth at least one turnover like that each game, but last night's was one of his better games for keeping things clean. Of course the true course of the tank stayed on track on that final drive when his collarbone got broken and Desmond Ridder went full deer in the headlights when called upon.

Thankfully this happened right as AOC is being prepped for a return off IR. Though personally I'd be wrapping him in cotton wool until Week 15 so we at least put up a good fight against Atlanta on MNF when I make my first trip to Vegas for a Raiders home game. Accepted a while ago that this team just wasn't going to be good, but if we can only add one more win to our tally, I'm hoping it's when I'm there!

Flying out in 16 days time. Game ticket bought last week near the front of the top tier and stadium tour booked for the Friday morning as well! If anyone else has been to Allegiant before for a game then any pre-game tailgate recommendations - plus any good bars with reasonably priced beer to watch Redzone in on the Sunday - would be appreciated (have been doing my research, but always know the great and good of NSC can be relied on for such suggestions).
