As for Raiders fans, my brother is a big fan and I 'treated' him to a Wembley game and we went to the Raiders Rally party with the Black Hole regulars and they were really nice people. Organised by Crusader Raider, Fred Biletnikoff was the guest of honour and it was great to see him.

One of my oldest mates Les is one of the top dogs at the Raiders UK, along with Keith "Crusader Raider" Smith. They always organize some great events...and have attended big events in Oakland as well with the Black Hole.

That is really cool!

The rally was the highlight of the weekend for both us as the Raiders got gubbed in the game sadly. It was pretty cool meeting all the great characters from the Black Hole who were all just brilliant fans. The event was superbly organised, if the Raiders comeback I'd let my brother drag me along to another one.

Les has often tried to get me to switch to the dark side...but, having an affection for the Chargers, that'll never happen! :lolol:

This was up at the Regent St event - first time we had properly seen each other since I left the Brighton B52's in 1991. Thats my youngest meeting some of the Raider Nation too, over from the Black Hole in Oakland :)

Denver Broncos has been bought by the Walmart family. Hope they don't employ a greeter to meet the fans

So Deshaun Watson has been given a longer 11 game suspension, and returns against his old team the Texans. TBH, I couldn't give a rats ass anymore...Im done with the Browns for a while after this debacle.
38 years of ups and mostly downs - but this has left a very sour taste in the mouth. At least when it was just on-field problems I could still root for them, as frustrating as it was - but this...?

It stinks. From signing DW to the huge 100% guaranteed contract, to all the denials, the apologies, the payouts, etc etc.

We were the laughing stock of the league for so long, but people had a soft spot for us as underdogs. After 4 years of solid building we were being respected on and off the field - at last. We now have this complete and utter sh1tshow which has undone all that good work - the FO and owners look like complete idiots in all of this.

And to top it off they have Brissett, Dobbs, and Rosen in the QB room this year. None of those will do a good job - so here they go again - basement dwellers and a losing season on the cards once more. I was never a huge fan of Mayfield, but they royally f***** him over after his injury last year, & I would've preferred at least another year of him healthy & leading the Browns than what transpired.

Sick of this organisation screwing things up time and time again.

This sucks and I appreciate how hard it is for you to ditch your fandom, but if I were a Cleveland fan I'd do the same. DW is a complete and utter PoS. This is another ugly episode for the NFL, which has a history of disrespecting women. This "punishment" is an obscene joke, smoking weed (which is legal in many places) will get you a bigger suspension. It's a disgrace.

You know you're in shite when a Commies fan is telling you your organisation is a joke.

Sad but true. At least we are hamfistedly trying to get better. If we had gone for DW I'd be out too. I have every empathy with fans of poorly run organisations, somehow Cleveland have knocked us off bottom spot.

Slightly surprised no one's posted on here on day 1. Perhaps understandable given what's occurring with our own football team, but with no games on in the PL or EFL this weekend I'm really enjoying watching our (Bears) opener against the Niners. Particularly as we're shithouseing a lead, having not got out of our own half for most of the first half. If only we could kick PATs......

I also enjoyed the Dolphins. Staying with Sky for the Packers/Vikings match up, before inevitably falling asleep before the exciting Bucs/Cowboys game.

My word I enjoyed the second half of the Bears game. First time I've smiled since Monday.

Yep, moved on from the Bears to the Saints game which went to the last play and now watching OT in the Bengals / Steelers. And to think I nearly didn't renew Game Pass.....

Steelers beat the Bengals with the last kick of OT having hit the post with an almost identical chance earlier. Great stuff.

Watched Bengals v Steelers.

I had never given the Long Snapper credit until now. The normally reliant MacPherson missed two chip shots by his standards.

Now tormenting myself by watching the Giants
