I remember staying up for the Quebec independence vote which was very close. One of the leaders of the 'Yes' vote there made the mistake of going in front of his supporters and getting all worked up. He blamed the loss on "rich people and immigrants" which killed his future career. If Salmond is smart, he'll make a brief concession speech and then not say anything for a few days until he's calmed down a bit.

The turnouts are incredible-as high as 90.1%.

What's interesting is that 2 of the lowest turnouts reported so far are in expected Yes strongholds, Glasgow & Dundee

Looks like the higher turnouts might be good for the Nays.
