Calling all Seagulls & Mullets!

Arundel celebrate their 125th anniversary tomorrow with a match against the BHA Dev team. The Club's existence was in doubt this winter due to the horrendous flooding, but thanks to the support of local football teams and the community, they managed to make it to the summer and now look forward to the new season.

They don't quite have the backing we enjoy at the AMEX every other week so the gate receipts from matches like these make all the difference. There will be plenty of local real ale, one of the best backdrops of any ground in the country, a decent forecast and chance to see some of the upcoming BHA players! If Sami thinks its worth going along then it must be!

Many thanks to Derek Allan, David Burke and Paul Barber for helping to arrange the match.

If anyone is heading to Mill Road tonight, and you get sight of a teamsheet (or maybe the line-ups written up on a board), any chance you could post a photo? Preferably showing both teams, including subs. Would be much appreciated.

If the subs are listed in positional order and "Trialist 1" is a defender this could well be the Cameroonian , Roderigue Ndiane who the club are still evaluating.

WTF is that all about? Tell him he's got no place there, then play him?

They could be hoping a few scouts will turn up to see how he plays. They put him in the shop window in a previous friendly.

So, one of the trialists is a goalkeeper.

We already have Stockdale, Ankergren, Walton, Smith and Doherty on our books as professionals. How many goalkeepers do we need?

Planning for the future ? We'll certainly need a replacement for Ankergren for the 2015/2016 season

Hedging. If Walton can replace Ankergren in the next season, Smith/Doherty may be able to take the third place spot. If neither of them develop how the club imagine the new guy (trialist) may be able to take the third spot. If smith/Doherty become good enough for third place 'keeper, the trialist may be the first choice youth keeper. Can't hurt to have as many young talents in our club as possible.

Only Arundel I know, but his movement was superb....

Thought the Arundel goalie played well - kept it from being a cricket score particularly in the first half.
Done a quick Google search and he has scored quiet a few goals What sort of player is he big small
