Done -took 1 hour 10 minutes to upgrade. It looks pretty cool.

Go (on the device, not itunes) to settings > general > software update.

Now showing 7.0 available for iPhone and iPad but need to update to iTunes 11.1.0 before it will let update to 7.0!

Mine just downloaded all the way to the end, began the installation, and then an error message to say the software was unavailable! wtf!!

So how do we close apps down now? It used to be a double tap of the home button or swipe up with 5 fingers and then a long press on the icon and tap the little x button in the corner - it doesn't do that now.
